Release engineering at The Linux Foundation for a decade — OpenDaylight, ONAP, ORAN-SC and FD.io — with a seat on the OpenDaylight Technical Steering Committee since 2018. Before that, a systems and security career in C and C++ — kernels, file systems and authentication. Now building production AI on that foundation: pipelines that run unattended, daily, with humans in the approval loop.

Work

  • Release engineering platforms

    I build the tooling and infrastructure other engineers ship on — CI/CD systems, build and release automation, developer tooling, and the migrations that move them onto something better without stopping the release train.

  • Zero-trust build infrastructure

    Ephemeral, tag-scoped build hosts provisioned on demand and destroyed after use, with cleanup guaranteed on timeout or failure.

  • Systems & security engineering

    Kernel and distributed file systems in C and C++, and enterprise authentication — Kerberos, LDAP, SSO and PKI — with patches merged upstream into MIT Kerberos. More than a decade of it before release engineering.

  • Agent-first AI systems

    Autonomous pipelines on self-hosted inference, running unattended behind human approval gates. AI-generated output is gated like production code — linted, tested, never merged on trust.

  • Autonomous pipelines, end to end

    Agent loops that plan, generate, build and verify — self-correcting until quality gates pass, then shipping a finished artefact. Run on fully local inference: ~500 repositories evaluated, ~50 episodes and 200+ short-form releases produced, at no per-run inference cost.
